SWR Corporate Design Relaunch
In 2010, the TV appearance of Südwestrundfunk (SWR) was reimagined by the agency gate.11. Under the motto “Show Your Colors”, stunning film footage was created, which I had the honor of developing into the new face of SWR.

IAA 2009
An entire hall for BMW! For the first time, dynamic driving presentations took place at an auto show in front of a large audience. The 750 m² LED installation stretching 300 m was truly impressive: for the half-hour shows, over 70 playback films were produced, and numerous synchronized effects with the moving cars created spectacular moments.

After completing my training years, an exciting journey began with gate.11 — a journey that continues to this day. Back then as a full-time employee, today as a freelancer.

ARD.ZDF Media Academy
During my training in media design at the Medienakademie (known until 2007 as the “Schule für Rundfunktechnik”), I attended numerous courses, such as studio lighting, video mixing, camera and sound technology, and editing.
1. trainee @ WERK
At the right time in the right place: during my internship at Pictorion in Munich, the company became a certified training facility, and I was immediately taken on as a media design trainee for image and sound. The areas where I spent extended time and learned the most included the graphics department with After Effects and 3D workstations, the Avid editing suites, the technical department with various MAZ devices, the color grading suites, and of course the reception, where I welcomed clients and handled phone calls.

Trainee @ GAP Films
After completing my Fachhochschulreife, I spent six months at GAP Films in Munich — an inspiring and highly educational period. During that time, I gained extensive technical knowledge, organized shoots, edited showreels, digitized Betacams and Umatics, and shared daily breakfasts with the team. I would say that the motivated and dedicated atmosphere there had a lasting influence on my own professional approach.
Advanced technical college diploma in art (Fachabitur at the Kunst-FOS)
A wonderful period in which many important foundations were laid. Alongside theoretical knowledge, every area of craftsmanship was available to explore. Among many other things, I learned how to cast shapes in ceramics, sew a blouse, shape glass, bind a book, felt a hat, experiment with various painting and printing techniques, and knot a real-hair wig.

I started school at age six and completed my secondary school diploma (“Mittlere Reife”) at 16, following the language track, as I’ve always had a passion for languages. Je parle un peu français, English comes naturally, and while my Spanish is still a work in progress, I can make myself understood.
Hello World!
I was born in 1986 in Munich and grew up in Vaterstetten. Despite coming from a family of native Bavarians, I’m the only one who doesn’t speak the dialect. Yes, I think that’s a shame too. On the bright side, I’ve always had top marks in grammar and spelling. ☝️🤓
